Sutton and East Surrey Water rebranded as SES Water
Sutton and East Surrey Water has announced that it is changing its trading name and logo ahead of retail market opening for business customers.
The wholesale part of the company - that will also continue to service existing household customers, has rebranded as SES Water.
The SES Water logo will be appearing on household customers’ bills and letters, head office signage, the company website and some vans and uniforms, and will be rolled out across other parts of the wholesale business over the coming months.
Sutton and East Surrey Water Services - already a separate business selling value-added services such as home emergency insurance, plumbing, heating and drainage services – has also been rebranded to SES Home Services.
The rebrand to SES Water and SES Home Services follows the creation of the separate non-household retail arm, SES Business Water.
SES Business Water started operating in August 2016 to participate in the water and sewerage retail market for non-household customers in England. It already has a licence to act as a water and sewerage retailer in Scotland and has been actively signing up new non-household customers there.
Anthony Ferrar, Managing Director of East Surrey Holdings, the parent company of all three businesses, said: “Market opening heralds an exciting change to the way we do business – we are thinking and acting like competitive businesses with an even greater focus on making our prices attractive, delivering high standards of customer service, and offering new products and services to non-household customers.
“As such it’s an ideal opportunity to update the brand for all parts of our business, and not least to better reflect the wholesale-specific vision we have to deliver excellent service to our existing household customers, and also other retailers who want to do business with us.”
SES Water has already written to all its household customers about the change and set up a dedicated phone line and email if they do have any questions.
