A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “These are the organisational groupings that are now moving to tender stage on Scottish Water's infrastructure alliances procurement.

"Details of the SR15 programme are still being finalised. We will continue to meet our legislative requirements and serve the needs of our customers, and we will be asking our partners to bring forward innovative proposals and approaches that enable us to protect the natural environment of Scotland and supply clear, fresh drinking water to our customers.

“In SR15 we are seeking to augment the Scottish Water Solutions model with alliances that are tailored to the infrastructure work.”
