powerPerfector's Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO) gives energy, cost and carbon savings by efficiently optimising a site's supply voltage. By optimising the voltage, electrical equipment runs more efficiently and consumes less energy. powerPerfector's power conditioning benefits create a more efficient, robust and reliable electrical supply for your site, protecting your entire electrical infrastructure. Our energy efficiency solution is unparalleled in terms of reliability and savings. It comes with a 15 year warranty and has a 50 year lifespan. VPO has maintained a 100% reliability record over 18 years and over 180,000 installations worldwide. Our simple four‐step evaluation process is free and without obligation and our savings estimates are underwritten by a guarantee on your Return on Investment. Our energy efficiency technology is trusted by some of the biggest names in energy and climate change. They include the energy regulator (Ofgem), the government's climate change department (DECC), the UK's main electricity distributor (National Grid), the UK's environmental guardians (Environment Agency), 160 local authorities and 20 government agencies.

Third Sector Takes Action To Cut Carbon Emissions & Energy Bills using powerPerfector technology
A growing number of charities, including Greenpeace and Amnesty International, are adopting unique Voltage Power Optimisation technology from powerPerfector to cut carbon emissions and their reduce annual energy bills. The money saved will release vital funds for frontline services and comes at a time when the Third Sector is looking to use its vital fundraising income as effectively and efficiently as ever.
powerPerfector, having demonstrated the ability of its technology to considerably reduce electricity consumption at WWF, RSPB and other third sector sites, is due to install two powerPerfector Plus units at Amnesty International UK and Greenpeace UK's head offices. The Third Sector has been hit exceptionally hard by the recession, as a result of many individuals and companies opting to reduce or stop their donations to save money.
It is timely therefore that Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO) technology is available and is due to save Greenpeace £1,286 and Amnesty International £4,410 per annum; and that Carbon Trust interest free loans are available for third sector sites to install such energy efficiency technologies.
The units will be installed over the summer and will reduce Amnesty International's associated carbon dioxide emissions by 22886 kgs, oxides of nitrogen emissions by 48 kgs and particulate matter emissions by over a kilogram (approximately) per annum.
Greenpeace UK's grid electricity is produced from renewable sources, which don't produce any direct emissions. However, the reduction of Greenpeace's electricity consumption can be associated with a reduction in the emissions and resources embedded in the life-cycle of renewable energy generating technologies. Moreover, suppliers of this 'clean' energy, such as Good Energy, recognise the ability of technology to free up electricity to be used by others on the grid.
Good Energy CEO - Juliet Davenport said: "As a Good Energy customer Greenpeace already knows how important it is to use 100% renewable electricity. We're delighted that they've taken further measures to reduce their energy usage - the less energy we all use in the UK, the greater the proportion we can meet with renewables."
Retty Eliades from Greenpeace said: 'Greenpeace has always said that saving energy is good for the environment and just as good for the wallet, and we're always looking for chances to put that into practice. The powerPerfector system will save us money and reduce our carbon footprint at a time we're looking to spend our supporters' cash as carefully as ever'.
powerPerfector itself actively supports social and environmental sustainability, particularly through Third Sector Organisational activities, having become a supporter of 10:10 (committing the company to a 10% reduction in its carbon emissions 2010) and The Prince's Mayday Network.
It is also a primary sponsor of Footprint Friends, an organisation dedicated to affecting positive attitudinal and behavioural change regarding Climate Change among 10-18 year olds. Alexander Beckett, from powerPerfector, said: 'We are continuously improving our social and environmental performance and this is an intriguing process for us.
Building on our successes of establishing an ISO 14001 environmental management system and including NOx and PM10 emission factors in our cost-value pages, we are also now in a position to account for the materials used in and the life-cycle carbon dioxide emissions of our units and can provide some figures regarding the CRCEE implications. This is invaluable information for organisations that are looking to account more completely for the impacts of their procurement activities and supply chain.'
