Water Quality - Faster Throughput of Samples for High Sensitivity HPLC Analysis of Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons

With an ever increasing focus on the detection of a multi-range of pollutants, to higher sensitivities of detection, analytical chemists are under increasing pressures.

There is now an enhancement to UV/Visible HPLC, which will save time and money. It is now possible to analyse water samples more easily and more quickly by using the same detector for both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

With the aid of the WaveQuest UV/Visible HPLC detector, analysis of a 16 component mixture of polyaromatic hydrocarbons is greatly speeded up to 4 minutes and can be performed on a routine basis.

Extra time can be saved as the WaveQuest will provide detailed spectral information and highly sensitive and precise quantitative information within the same chromatographic elution.

The same technology and principle can be used for any other UV/Visible HPLC analysis.
