Job Title: Department Head - Environmental Engineering
Division: Atkins Contaminated Land Solutions
Reports to: Steve Pearmain
To strengthen and consolidate their reputation as the primary contaminated land consultancy in the UK, Atkins require a motivated land quality consultant with a proven track record to head up the Environmental Engineering Department in Epsom, Surrey. The team currently comprises 20 technical consultants and the role will predominantly focus on consolidating and enhancing the strengths of the existing team, particularly with regard to delivering landmark regen/remediation projects, both in the UK and overseas. The role will entail close collaboration with the Head of Risk Assessment in Epsom and will be under the line management of the Division Head.
The successful candidate will be a motivated professional with exemplary technical credentials, developed ideally within a high quality environmental consultancy or other similar organisation. They will currently hold a line management position and must be capable of delivering complex projects on time and budget whilst effectively managing a skilled team of contaminated land personnel.
