Rental instrumentation to help beat the budget at Sustainability Live

Instrumentation specialists Ashtead Technology will be demonstrating the benefits of hiring over buying at this year's Sustainability Live event, with a host of new environmental monitoring products on offer.

The Ashtead team will have a cross section of all of its environmental monitoring equipment (for air, soil and water) on stand R85 to help provide an affordable alternative to buying outright, particularly during the recession.

Instrumentation includes the Niton XL3t XRF soil analyser, the Signal Streetbox air quality monitoring system (click here for case study) and the Crowcon LaserMethane landfill gas detector (click here for case study).

In addition, the stand will have the MiniRAE 3000, the most advanced handheld volatile organic compound (VOC) detector on the market along with the FLIR B360 ThermaCAM which is ideal for energy efficiency audits (click here for case study).

Ashtead General Manager James Carlyle says "Sustainability Live is a very important event for us and it will give us the opportunity to meet new and existing customers. Our comprehensive range of environmental monitoring equipment will be of interest to many different industry sectors and we will have experts on hand to provide advice on which instrument best suits individual needs."

The event takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on May 19-21.
