MSE Hiller Limited
MSE Hiller Ltd, Mobile and Separation Equipment (M&SE) specialise in the rental and sales of dewatering centrifuges into environmental applications within the water treatment and process industries. Effluents and sludges may be dewatered or thickened by use of either fixed or temporary installed mobile dewatering plants. Trial units are available for on site testing of applications and unit capacities range from 1 to 105 m3 per hour. The MSE Hiller range of decanter type centrifuges offer high performance sludge dewatering and thickening and there are over 5,600 units installed Worldwide. The centrifuges can be supplied with either hydraulic or electrical regenerative back drive capability for automatically adjusting the scroll speed to suit the solids loading of the feed. The hire service is available with or without process operatives and can be used for on site lagoon and pond clearances, digestor cleaning, seasonal peak loads/breakdown coverage etc. Mitsubishi rayon membrane systems can be offered for high efficiency separation and cleaning of effluents offering water re-use options to customers. Energy Efficient Centrifuges - the new SEE range from MSE Hiller
MSE Hiller recently announced the arrival of their revolutionary new SEE drive system.
SEE which stands for Stationary Energy Efficient drive incorporates a direct drive gearbox so no more V belts!
As the name suggests this new Decapress centrifuge offers superior energy efficiency compared to the older conventional design of centrifuge.
The New Stationary Gearbox also incorporates a new oil circulation system which delivers cleaned filtered and cooled oil directly in to the main rotating parts of the gears leading to smooth operation, high torque, reduced wear and increased longevity.
The centrifuge which recently saw it's first production runs at a waste water treatment plant in Germany is the end result of a research and development programme which started some 24 months ago and led the Hiller company to question each component and part of the centrifuge to develop a truely state of the art next generation of Decapress machine.
During the proving trials the unit was said to offer a 30% increase in production capacity compared to the conventional centrifuge at site and cake solids were some 5% better. Polymer and power consumption were also said to be considerably lower than expected.
The SEE range of Decapress centrifuges also come with the new Swiss built SEE controller which provides a processing speed some 4 x faster than previous systems and allows for ethernet and profibus communication all as standard!.
An SEE DP484 model will be on show at the IWEX exhibition at the NEC Birmingham 16 - 18 April 2013.
Orders have already been taken for the first 10 machines and with the next units already in production this next generation of decanter seems to be an energy efficient winner.
