WRAP wishes to invite proposals for Packaging Innovation Research and Reducing Food Waste through Innovation.
Packaging Innovation Research
Closing date 20th April
Delivering new 'best in class' packaging formats (based on packaging weight per unit product) with net environmental benefits. This tender also includes projects involving in-store and self dispensing systems, closed loop systems and re-useable packaging.
Reducing Food Waste through Innovation
Closing date 31st March
Identifying organisations interested in working with WRAP to develop packaging and technological solutions for food packaging that will enable consumers to manage their food better in the home so as to lead to a reduction in household waste.
Project activities eligible for support include: innovation in product design and packaging; product dispensing systems; prototyping; pilots and trials; distribution tests and consumer testing.
