Master Classes: Landfill Gas, Leachate & Groundwater

Product Training for Landfill Technicians and Operators from Geotech

To help customers save time and money, Geotech has launched one-day master classes to be run at four UK centres through 2009. The training will ensure operators make best possible use of their investment in staff time and equipment, including; landfill gas analyses, leachate pumps, dip meters and groundwater sampling. Geotech will share its 20-year experience, knowledge and expertise on best practice, maintenance, troubleshooting and avoiding down time and damage.

With a 20-limit maximum for each course, attendees will certain to improve their understanding of equipment to enhance on-site activity, learn from up-to-date case studies and operate at maximum efficiency. These master classes will take users from 'the normal day-to-day' to very best possible performance.

Topics will include landfill gas monitoring, data control, ATEX / MCERTS and the Geotech GA2000Plus portable gas analyser. For fixed position gas monitoring with the Geotech AEMS static system, users will become fully briefed in is application in CHP/gas-engine control and protection with landfill and biogas, CDM and PPC. Use of Geotech's ATEX-rated AP pumps to control leachate and remove products will feature, as will liquid level monitoring with Diplog and ATEX dipmeters. The master classes complete with a section on vastly improved, high-speed and increased-accuracy groundwater sampling with a micropurge low-flow kit and an on-site water analyser.
