T-T Complete National Water Hygiene Scheme
Staff at T-T Pumps Ltd have recently demonstrated their knowledge and competence in hygiene in the water industry with Managers, Sales Team and Engineers receiving training and certification in the National Water Hygiene Scheme (NWHS).
The purpose of the NWHS scheme is to establish a UK-wide water industry approach to the training, registering and monitoring of the hygiene requirements of employees, contractors and suppliers. Each UK water company is required to ensure that employees, contractors and suppliers who operate within drinking water environments are not carriers of waterborne diseases and that they have an understanding of the need to operate hygienically.
The NWHS certification coupled with T-T's knowledge, product range, workshop facilities and national service teams, make us the ideal source for all your clean water products, systems and services.
Ben Nash, Director at T-T Pumps, comments: "The emphasis of the scheme is to promote individual responsibility within the water industry to protect public health. We are delighted to announce our staff are now competent in this important area and in the future we will be seeking more potable water projects."
Peter Bradley of Achieve Safely Ltd, comments: "This company is leading the way in following best practices and ensuring that their employees follow hygienic practices. It was readily apparent that they are keen to promote water industry standards that create improvements in public safety and health".
