Haigh Engineering manufactures a range of sewage and waste-water treatment equipment that includes inlet screens, screening handling and conditioning. Dewatering, compaction and drying. We also produce macerators for use with pumps as pump protection, or built in to macipumps or pipelines. A hygiene division produces machines for disposal of hospital waste including Disposable bed-pans and incontinence pads, a range of disposers are available for catering establishments. Haigh Engineering will manufacture customised solutions for process industries: Our machines can be manufactured in stainless steel for marine and on-board ship applications

Haigh reach the finals at Water Industry Achievement Awards

Haigh were pleased to be in the finals of the Sustainable Development category presented at the Water Industry Achievement Awards held at the Birmingham International Conference Centre on the 2nd May.

Haigh was one of the three companies to reach the finals of this prestigious Award, and congratulate Durapipe on winning the category with their clean water initiative for the indigenous people of Madagascar.

Haigh entered the Lisep Package which has the ability to reduce the volume of screenings removed at waste water inlets by up to 94% while also reducing the impact of greenhouse gas production. This combination offers the win/win advantage of reducing costs related to transport and landfill while also reducing massively, the amount of greenhouse gas produced.

Liseps offer a sustainable option as their use, actively reduces the amount of carbon released by waste water works. Liseps offer the option of saving money while also reducing carbon footprints.
