The manufacturing and utility sectors' approach to the sustainability agenda is increasingly multidisciplinary, integrated and long term.
With core strengths in water sciences , integrated waste management, energy and offshore technology, our Sustainable Systems Department is concerned with managing connected processes more effectively for the future - treatment processes, service systems, utility infrastructures, policy and regulatory processes and the product cycle.
A strong track record of industrial collaboration means we deliver specialist postgraduate education, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes including short courses, conferences, bespoke training packages, workshops and modules as well as internationally-leading research, and consultancy for the business sectors faced. With a range of professionally accredited Masters' programmes offered, the modular format of the part-time route permits a high degree of flexibility of attendance.
