Tetronics International is a global leader in the supply of Direct Current (DC) Plasma Arc systems for a wide range of applications including Waste Recovery, Hazardous Waste Treatment, Metal Recovery and Production Processes. We support our customers through the complete cradle to grave lifecycle management of the waste recovery plant, from the initial testing of the material at Tetronics f test facility, the most comprehensive in Europe, through design and supply to the physical on-site installation of a full commercial plant and subsequent technical support and service. How do we do it? Our patented Plasma Arc technology provides a safe, eco-friendly and future proof solution for managing hazardous waste and material recovery with the closest to zero waste achievable with current technology. This sustainable ggreen h alternative for waste management uses ultra ]high temperatures and functional light to melt, gasify or vaporise any waste material, in order to treat, recover or generate valuable commercial products. Our technology has been tried and tested over five decades and has been used globally in more than 80 plants across a wide and varied range of applications.

WEBINAR | From Hazard to Resource: An insight into the rapid growth or APCr from EfW
Topic: FROM HAZARD TO RESOURCE: An insight into the rapid growth of Air Pollution Control residues (APCr) from Energy from Waste (EfW)
Date: 20th May 2014
Time: 11am BST
Duration: 45 mins
Where: Registration is FREE. Simply, follow this link to reserve your place now
The growth in EfW plant capacity is leading to a corresponding increase in the generation of Air Pollution Control residues (APCr), making it one of the fastest growing hazardous waste streams in the EU.
Fact: For every 100,000 tpa of MSW that is converted to energy using thermal treatment processes, approx. 4,000 tpa of hazardous APCr is produced. APCr is a hazardous waste, generated in the exhaust gas cleaning systems of energy from waste plants and is a growing concern of the public and other pressure groups.
This webinar, in association with Tetronics International and Green Energy Parks, looks at how tightening environmental legislation will force a higher diversion of APCr away from landfill, creating an opportunity for sustainable technologies to supersede the management of this growing hazardous waste stream - technologies that countries such as Japan have been using for decades.
You will learn about:
1.The challenges related with APCr management and its impact on EfW facilities
2.The benefits of Plasma technology in treating APCr
Case Study: Plasma Technology
The webinar offers an opportunity to look in depth at one treatment technology currently causing a stir, which uses plasma arc technology to destroy the hazardous species of APCr whilst producing products that can be sold as an additional source of revenue. The webinar also looks at how and why this technology was selected by Green Energy Parks to manage the APCr that will be generated at EnergyPark Peterborough, which is due to start construction this year.
Tetronics International is the global leader in the supply of Plasma Arc resource recovery plants for hazardous waste treatment and metal recovery applications. This includes the delivery of superior benefits when treating the hazardous APCr generated from energy from waste plants.
Who should attend?
1.Those active in EfW plants and their development in the EU
2.Senior Individuals involved energy from waste facilities, combined heat and power (CHP) plants, sheet glass production, paper recycling and bio-energy plants, waste management and environmental aspects of government
