Alpheus Environmental offers a comprehensive range of water & wastewater process solutions and asset management services. Alpheus manage >3000 sites, across a range of sectors. Alpheus also own and operate 4 licensed waste centres for the reception and treatment of liquid wastes. Alpheus has a wealth of real world experience installing, operating and maintaining water and wastewater assets. Alpheus has developed extensive technical, process and commercial knowledge in the operation and selection of a broad range water & wastewater treatment technologies. Alpheus uses this experience to help customers enhance and optimize plant performance, reduce operating costs, meet environmental obligations and reduce risk, enabling focus on core business activities. Alpheus operates across a spectrum of water & wastewater applications, ranging from the operation & management of existing assets, through to the design, build and operation of new assets. The Alpheus Team comprises of highly skilled and qualified process engineers and technicians with a mix of practical and academic expertise, backed by a nationwide mechanical electrical resource and a 24/7 helpdesk service.

Alsace Challenge

Alpheus Environmental Ltd have entered a team into the 2005 Alsace Challenge which raises funds for the Extra Mile charity www.extra-mile.org.uk The event is held over the 23rd-25th of September and requires them to cycle from Amiens in France to Colmar. The Alpheus team are training hard and are ready to commit themselves to the pain and agony that the cycling 500 miles will undoubtedly bring.

The charities to benefit from their hard work will be The Ark (provides accommodation for the homeless & vulnerable in Milton Keynes), Mercy Ships (a global charity which has a fleet of hospital ships in developing nations), The Prostate Cancer Charity (Offering help & Support to anyone affected by Prostate Cancer), SAFAD (Silsoe Aid for Appropriate Development, sends students to work on projects in the developing world), Sue Ryder, St Johns, Moggerhanger (specialist palliative care and treatment centre), OSCAR (Support group for families of children suffering with brain or spinal tumours). Any monies raised over the £1000 required for these charities will go to Breast Cancer Research.
